Relevant letting fees and tenant protection information

Before the tenancy starts (payable to Ocean Letting & Management Ltd ‘the Agent’)
Holding Deposit: 1 week’s rent
Deposit: 5 weeks’ rent. This is worked out by multiplying the rent by 12, dividing that figure by 52 and then multiplying that figure by 5.
So for example if the rent was GBP1,000pcm
GBP1,000 multiply by 12 = GBP12,000
GBP12,000 divide by 52 = GBP230.77
GBP230.77 multiply by 5 = GBP1,153.85
So the deposit will be GBP1,153.85

During the tenancy (payable to the Agent)
As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments.

Permitted payments
Payment of [up to GBP300 + VAT] if you want to change the tenancy agreement.
Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England’s base rate.
Payment of the invoice cost for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices
Payment of any unpaid rent and other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy that the landlord would incur for remarketing
