Any adult on the tenancy agreement requires a guarantor, who must be either a UK home owner or in full time employment, in all cases. Both tenant and guarantor will be subject to a credit check. If you are claiming benefits, we also require you to fill in the authorisation section of the claim form to enable us to speak to the relevant department should the need arise. Written confirmation will be required from Housing Benefit before moving in.
A deposit will be required which will be submitted to My Deposits (which is a legal requirement). The deposit is protected and the tenant will receive certificate to confirm this when moving in.
